Long before the notion of “women's lib” caught on, there were female visionaries who championed the intelligence, power and spirit of women when they formed the Mesa Woman's Club. Tour the original Mesa Woman's Club House to see some fascinating artifacts and memorabilia that date back to its foundation in March of 1917. The group was inspired by Margaret Wheeler Ross, who also served as a president of this organization between 1914 and 1916.
